Hello, and welcome to the Southern Peaks Regional Treatment Center (SPRTC) website. SPRTC is a trauma informed therapeutic community dedicated to the support and growth of youth and families. This challenging work requires daily commitment from staff and teams to achieve our goal of improving the lives of those we serve. I have the privilege of working with the dedicated staff and youth at Southern Peaks and I would like to take this opportunity to share some of our focused initiatives.
Southern Peaks is a nationally recognized behavioral health program for both male and female adolescents. We offer behavioral health and education services which are facilitated through trauma informed, gender responsive, and culturally based treatment approaches. We are a Joint Commission accredited, PREA certified, and fully accredited Santuary® Model program. Our school, Phoenix Academy, is credentialed by the Colorado Department of Education as a private facility school and by the California Department of Education as a non-public school.
Our website provides an overview of the Core Programs and Specialized Services we offer to meet the needs of youth we serve. We strive to continually improve upon our fundamental programming to better support the needs of our customers. We are proud to provide treatment specific services to survivors of human trafficking through our Haven program, Native America youth living with generational trauma through our Medicine Bear program, and youth struggling with social and emotional issues through our Behavioral Health and Sexual Misconduct programs.
